Call for Exhibitors – BAM! in the Summer, 2024 Summer Art Market 

Calling all artists, creatives and makers! Apply now for the 2024 Barns Art Market – BAM! In the Summer, happening July 6, 10:00AM – 4:00PM, at Wychwood Barns.  

BAM! Is back for an all-new summer market. This market aims to support local talent within our diverse communities, giving emerging, mid-career and established artists a space to exhibit and sell their work! 
This market will be happening during The Stop’s Weekly Farmers Market, that seems over 1500 guests weekly in the summer, and Salsa on St. Clair 2024 that brings thousands to St. Clair Avenue West yearly.  

Barn 2, 601 Christie Street, Toronto ON.  

July 6, 10:00AM – 4:00PM, 2024

Exhibitors are chosen by a selection committee including Wychwood Barns artists and community members. Artists selected to participate in the market will be notified between June 6-10th, with next steps. Upon acceptance of the offer and confirmation of participation, you will be issued an invoice to pay your registration fee. Payment methods will be confirmed upon acceptance into the market. 

Exhibitors must showcase and sell work from the media category indicated in their applications and represented by the supporting images provided with the application. Please note that if you would like to showcase or sell work from another media category, it must be submitted for review by the selection committee. You are not permitted to display or sell work of other artist(s) or any other products that are not your original creations. Work must be family friendly and not contain graphic or violent imagery.  

Booth spaces will be assigned by the selection committee based on preferences indicated in your application. There are limited quantities of all booth sizes, we will do our best to assign your first ranked option. Emerging or New/Early Career Artists applying for the BAM! Emerging Artist Centre should fit the Canadian Council for the Arts definition –  

  • $225 – BAM Installation Booth – up to 10X10’ of space to install artwork  
  • $200 – BAM! Table Plus – 6′ table, with additional space behind the booth for display furniture (ie. Card Spinner, grid walls).  
  • $175 – BAM! Table – 6′ Table  
  • $125 – BAM! Emerging Artist Centre – 3-4′ approx. section of table with other emerging artists  

Tables and Linens are available for rent through Wychwood Barns, for a fee of $30. All tables should be covered by black linens. Tables in the Emerging Artist Centre will be provided.
